This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured red, yellow, and white cardboard box contains 49 of the original 50 rounds of Super Speed 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and Kopperklad bullets and is in good to very good condition with light wear, a few dirt smudges, and tape residue running lengthwise around the box. The tape has been removed and a few spots of the colorful layer of paper came off of the top panel and one end flap with it. Two 1/8" tears are starting on the right edge of the left end flap. A thumb cut is present on each end of the box. The product code K2208R is printed on the front panel. The back panel displays the ownership lines "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / DIVISION OF OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC". "MADE / IN / U.S.A." is printed on both end flaps. Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until 1954.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WRA-17 LR-1(b) variation. The difference observed is that this box does not display yellow printing.
