This Winchester manufactured No. 34 A style three leaf express rear sight with the improved platina (silver plated) verticle lines below each V notch is for the pre-war model 1894 lever action Eastern carbine and is in very good condition exhibiting a brownish gray patina with surface rust freckling and possibly some original blue finish in the protected areas.  (file photo)
