This Winchester manufactured red and yellow cardboard box contains 15 of the original 50 rounds of Super Speed 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and copper washed bullets and is in very good condition with edge wear and a crease running lengthwise down the back panel. The box has a split at each end of the box along the seam where the top panel meets the back panel. The splits measure 2/8" apiece. The product code K 2214 R is printed on the front panel. This box displays the "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. / DIVISION OF OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC." printing on the back panel. The nickel casings display the "H-10" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1946 and was produced until 1954.
