This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Staynless Lead Greased 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and is in very good condition with light wear, foxing, and dirt smudges. The cardboard ammo tray has a 3/8" tear in one end. A small thumb cut is present at each end of the box. There are NO patent numbers on this box. The front panel displays the ownership line "WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.". The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1938 and may have been produced as late as 1939.
