This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured blue, white and red cardboard box with the blue shaded shield design contains all 50 rounds of Staynless 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and is in about good condition at best with moderate wear. The white portions of the box have turned tan with age. The bottom edge of the back panel is completely split open and the top portion of the left end flap is detached but present. This box displays a thumb cut on the right end of the box. "TRADE MARK  MADE IN U. S. A." is printed underneath "WINCHESTER" on the top panel. The product code "K 2288 R" is printed on the back panel. The bottom panel states "MADE IN U. S. A." and there is NO distance warning stamped on the end flaps. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a dark coating of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1927 and was produced until 1937.

Note: This box is the Huegel # WRA-12B LR-1(a) variation. This box displays the "B" style bottom panel and NO distance warning on the end flaps.
