This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured blue, white and red cardboard box with the blue shaded shield design contains all 50 rounds of Staynless 22 Long ammunition with copper cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light shelf wear and some brown stains, most of which are on the back panel. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. This box displays a thumb cut on the right end of the box. "TRADE MARK  MADE IN U. S. A." is printed underneath "WINCHESTER" on the top panel. The product code "K 2286 R" is printed on the back panel. The bottom panel states "MADE IN U. S. A." and there are NO distance warnings stamped on the end flaps. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a light coating of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1927 and was produced until 1937.

Note: This box is the Huegel # WRA-12B L-1(b) variation. This box displays the "B" style bottom panel and NO distance warning on the end flaps.
