This Winchester manufactured late variation receiver and fourth variation barrel assembly with the front sight ramp are for the later model 290 semi-auto rimfire rifle which uses a dovetail mounted front and rear sight (sold separately). This barrel is 20 3/4 " long and fires 22L or LR caliber and is in very good condition retaining over 95% original blue finish with light wear and a few specks of surface rust present. This receiver and barrel assembly are in very good condition retaining about 95% original blue finish with light wear and possibly a few specks of surface rust.  The bore is bright and rates excellent.  The barrel portion consists of the barrel, barrel collar, front sight ramp and metal magazine tube band.  This barrel may possibly have an importers address added. The receiver is the only part on the model 290 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer.
