This Winchester manufactured barreled receiver consists of the receiver and a 22" long barrel chambered in 22 Long Rifle caliber and is for the model 56 bolt action rimfire rifle. The overall condition is very good exhibiting a brownish gray patina with some scattered specks of rust and pin prick pitting. The bore rates very good. All printing is clear and fully legible. The receiver is the only part on the model 56 rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through an FFL dealer. Barreled receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.  (file photos)
