This Winchester manufactured olive cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Lesmok 22 WRF ammunition with copper cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear and dirt smudging. Both of the top hinges on the end flaps show wear with the left one exhibiting a 7/16" tear. A 5/16" tear is present on the top panel starting at the thumb cut. This box contains 5 rounds of ammunition with a simple groove cannelure in the casing and a serated grove in the bullet and 45 rounds with a serated canelure in the casing and a plain bullet. We believe the 5 cartridges are correct to this box as they match the cartridge pictured on the top panel. This box displays the words "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK" in red printing on the top panel while the front panel pictures a Winchester 1890 rifle above the words "WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK" in red. The product code "K2292R" is printed on both end flaps. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a coating of tarnish present that varies between the two style cartridges.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1927 and was only produced for a couple of years.

Note: This box is the Huegel # WRA-11A WRF-1 variation.

Date Codes Observed on This Box: ??10 (Not easily legible. Stamped on the bottom of the ammo tray)
