This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured two piece, split top, cardboard box with buff top and side sealing labels contains 44 of the original 50 rounds of Lesmok 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and is in about good condition with moderate wear and dirt smudges. The top of the box is missing the front and right sides and the back and left sides are stained dark tan as if they have old tape residue present. A green, red, and buff Winchester advertisement is included in the box and features the codes 2196 and 7-13. The top label displays Winchester in block letters inside of quotation marks, a cartridge, the caliber ".22 Long Rifle Cartridges" printed above " "Lesmok" Powder. ", and the label codes 49 and 8-10. The front of the side sealing band features the label codes 143 and 8-10, the back side displays the dot punched date code, and a red W is printed on each end. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a coating of tarnish present. The lubrication on the bullets had hardened and turned white with age.
