This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured two piece, split top, cardboard box with green top label and one inch wide orange side sealing band contains all 50 rounds of Lesmok 22 WRF ammunition with copper cases and is in very good condition with light wear and a 3/8" tear in the back side of the box top. This box has been opened, but the front of the side band has not been split. This creates a hinge allowing the box cover to be opened without completely splitting the side band. A green, red, and buff Winchester advertisement insert is included in the box and features the codes 2196 and 7-13. The top label displays Winchester in italic letters inside of quotation marks, a cartridge, the patent date "Pat. May / 28, 1912", and the label codes 9 and 3-13. The front of the side sealing band features the label codes 144 and 8-10 and the dot punched date code. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a light coating of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1913 and was produced until circa 1914.
