This Winchester Repeating Arms Co. manufactured two piece, full top, cardboard box with green and yellow partial wrap around label contains 27 of the original 50 rounds of 22 LR ammunition with Lesmok powder, hollow point bullets, and copper cases and is in rough condition with moderate wear. The bottom half of the box is becoming weak in the areas that are exposed by the thumb cut openings in the cover due to being opened over the years. The top label displays the words "TRADE MARK" underneath Winchester and "STETSON'S / PATENT / Oct. 31st, 1871". "LESMOK CARTRIDGES" is printed underneath the depiction of a cartridge. Both ends of the box display the product code K2246R. The bottom label displays the guarantee, the company name, and the label codes 2581 and 7-20 on the left and the dot punched date code on the right. The copper casings display the "H-10" headstamp and have a coating of tarnish present. The lubrication on the bullets has turned white with age.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1923 and was produced until circa 1927.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WRA-10 LR-2 variation. The difference observed is that this box displays the product code K2246R on both ends.
