Here is a very fine Winchester model 61 takedown slide action rifle in 22 Win Mag R.F. caliber with a 24" long round barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial number 310853 and was manufactured circa 1962. The metal surfaces retain 97% original blue finish with the loss located on the barrel where the forearm has rubbed due to operating the action. The pistol grip walnut butt stock and 17 groove flat bottom forearm rate excellent retaining nearly all of their original factory finish. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A very fine example of a model 61 in a less common caliber for the collector and/or investor.  {C&R}
