Here is a very fine cased Smith & Wesson model 29 double action revolver in 44 Magnum caliber with an 8 3/8" pinned barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial #S206323 and was manufactured in 1961. The revolver features a ramped front sight with red insert, adjustable rear sight with white outline and 10 groove serrated grip strap. The metal surfaces retain 99% original bright blue finish with minimal light wear due primarily to handling or cycling of the cylinder. The .500" Target hammer and .500" Target trigger retain all of their original case colors. The checkered factory hard wood grips with factory medallions and diamond shaped border around the mounting screw rate excellent. This revolver rests in its factory hinge top wood presentation case with a blue covered styrofoam interrior and contains an original cleaning rod and impliments. The presentation case has a couple minor dirt smudges and scratches on the cover.  A great investment grade early production Smith.  {C&R}  (see photos)
