This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Xpert 40 grain 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and lead greased bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The product code "XP22LR" is printed on both end flaps underneath the word "GREASED". The bottom of the box displays the ownership lines "WESTERN CARTRIDGE COMPANY, East Alton, Ill.,U.S.A. / Division of OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC". The end flap warning reads "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "2-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1953 and was produced until 1956.
