This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, red and blue cardboard box contains 45 of the original 50 rounds of Super-Match Mark II 40 grain 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in about good condition with moderate wear and a small tear near one thumb cut. The left end flap has separated from the box and a previous owner has re-attached it with a clear piece of tape on the outside. This box displays the "JJ" style bottom and the #3 style end flap, with the exception that all of the printing is not in capital letters. The product code K1267R is printed on the front panel. The brass casings display the "2-1" headstamp. This style box does NOT display a period before "22".  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in the 1940's and was produced until the 1960's.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-51.2 LR-3(e) variation. The differences observed are that this box does NOT display black printing or a period before "22" anywhere on the box and this box displays the #3 style end flap with the exception that all of the printing is not in capital letters. This box displays the "JJ" style bottom. The product code K1267R is printed on the front panel. The brass casings display the "2-1" headstamp.
