This Western Cartridge Co. manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Xpert 40 grain 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and lead greased bullets and is in about good condition with moderate wear and ink smudging. A 7/16" wide strip of the colorful layer of paper is missing from the back panel. This strip runs from the top of the panel to the bottom. The product code "K1264R" is printed on the front panel. The bottom of the box displays "Made in U. S. A." in the upper right corner, nine patent numbers, and the address line "WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO., East Alton, Ill., U. S. A.". Both end flaps state "GREASED" and the end flap warning reads "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "2-1" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.  (file photos)

Note: This box is the Huegel # WCC-52 LR-1(c) variation. The box displays the "K" style bottom and the # 2 style end flap warning. The product code "K1264R" is printed on the front panel and "GREASED" is printed on both end flaps.
