This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box with the picture of the broken clay target contains all 50 rounds of Super-X Clay Target extra clean wax coated 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and No. 12 chilled shot and is in good condition with moderate wear and a small spot of a hardened substance stuck to the top of the box. "EXTRA CLEAN - WAX COATED" is printed along the bottom edge of the top of the box and the product code "K1268R" is printed on the front panel. The bottom of the box displays 5 patent numbers and the ownership line "WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO., East Alton, Ill., U. S. A.". This box displays thumb cuts on both ends of the box and the end flaps read "CAUTION! / Dangerous within / 1 Mile". The nickel casings display the "SU-1" headstamp and one end of the cardboard ammo tray has become unsealed.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1941 and was produced until 1946.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-6D LR-11(a) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's sample photo because this box is a 22 LR Shot box.
