This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X long range 22 W.R.F. (Rem. Spl.) ammunition with brass cases and copper washed bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and an 1/8" tear along the top hinge of the left end flap. This box displays a top hinged left end flap and a bottom hinged right end flap. The product code "SX22WRF" is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the ownership lines "WESTERN CARTRIDGE COMPANY, East Alton, Ill., U.S.A. / Division of OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC.". The end flap warning reads "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL" and "11-BN" is printed on the front hinged, inner end flap on the left end of the box. The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1953 and was produced until 1956.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-8 WRF-1(c) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's sample photo due to this being a 22 WRF box.

This box is WRF-19 in Huegel's Super-X Checklist.
