This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Xpert 29 grain 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and greased bullets and is in very good to near ecxellent condition with light wear. The product code "XP22S" is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the ownership lines "WESTERN CARTRIDGE COMPANY, East Alton, Ill.,U.S.A. / Division of OLIN INDUSTRIES, INC.". Both end flaps state "GREASED". The end flap warning reads "RANGE / 1 MILE / BE CAREFUL". One of the long sides of the cardboard ammo tray has become unglued. The brass casings display the "2-1" headstamp and have a couple specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1953 and was produced until 1956.
