This Western Cartridge Co. manufactured off-white, yellow, blue, and red cardboard box with the circular bullseye target contains all 50 rounds of Smokeless 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and Lubaloy coated, copper washed bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear, a small dent in the top panel, and a 1/8" tear in the side of the left end flap. The top panel states "Lubaloy" and "NON-CORROSIVE PRIMING". The bottom panel displays the copyright information in the upper left corner, Western printed in red ink, one patent number, a blank space where the word "greaseless" has been omitted, and patent information above the company name and address. The top of the left end flap reads "90C". The copper casings display the "2-1" headstamp and the bullets show oxidation.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1931 and was produced until circa 1939.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-4.4 LR-2 variation. The difference observed is that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black. This box displays the "S-1" bottom and the top of the left end flap reads "90C".
