This factory manufactured safety rod is for the Iver Johnson Sporting Goods Co. hammerless double shotgun in 12 & 20 gauge and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light wear. Note: this part fits the early variation trigger plate assembly.  (file photo)
