This Thompson Center manufactured second variation octagon barrel measures 27" long not including the breech plug and is for the Seneca muzzle loading rifle. This sub-assembly consists of the barrel, breech plug and the barrel lug. The overall condition is good retaining most of its original blue finish having light wear and some scatteres specks of rust. The second variation barrel will have the model "Seneca" marking and has the rear sight mounting holes 9/16" apart (center to center) for the second or third variation rear sights (sold separately).  (file photos)
