This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured red, blue and off-white cardboard box with the bullseye design contains all 50 rounds of Rustless Target 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light edge wear. The product code "No. 2214" is printed on the top of the box. This box displays the top aligned "P" in "Peters", "B" style box bottom, and the small, half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1948 and was produced until 1962.

Note: This box is the Huegel # PCC-54C S-2 variation. This box displays blue ink as opposed to black, the top aligned "P" in "Peters", the "B" style box bottom, and the small, half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp.
