This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured blue, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of High Velocity 22 Short ammunition with nickel cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. This box displays the semi-circle thumb cut on the right end of the box. The bottom of the box is factory rubber stamped with two sets of numbers/letters. The nickel casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1947 and was produced until circa 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-17 S-1(a) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays the semi-circle thumb cut, the product code is printed on the right side of the front and back panels, and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's. The nickel casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.
