This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured blue, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of High Velocity 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1947 and was produced until circa 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-17 S-1(d) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays the product code on the right side of the front and back panels and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut and there is NO message on the inside of the end flaps. The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.
