This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured blue, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of High Velocity 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear and light dirt smudging. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.
Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1947 and was produced until circa 1960.
Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-17 LR-1(d) variation. The difference observed is that the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's. This box displays the half diamond thumb cut and there is NO message on the inside of the end flaps. The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.
