This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured blue, red and white cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of High Velocity 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and hollow point bullets and is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear. This box displays the semi-circle thumb cut on the right end of the box. The nickel casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1947 and was produced until circa 1960.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-17 LR-3(a) variation. The difference observed is that the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's. The bottom of this box diplays the words "to insure accuracy" at the end of the 2nd sentence in the first paragraph. This box displays the semi-circle thumb cut. The nickel casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.
