This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured red, white and blue cardboard box with the target contains all 50 rounds of Pistol Match 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear and light foxing. The bottom of the box states "PETERS PISTOL MATCH CARTRIDGES WITH "RUSTLESS" PRIMING" and displays the guarantee sentence. Both end flaps display the product code "No. 2228". There is NO thumb cut or child warning on this box. This box uses the short cardboard ammo tray. The brass casings display the "U-3" headstamp and two cannelures. They have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced circa 1956 and was produced until 1962.
