This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured blue, yellow and red cardboard box with the target contains all 50 rounds of Rifle Match 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in good condition with moderate wear. There is a 2 7/8" split along the top back hinge of the box, a wrinkle all the way around the right end, and an old red stain on the top. The front panel reads "RIFLE / MATCH / CARTRIDGES / FOR USE IN RIFLES ONLY". The bottom of the box states "PETERS RIFLE MATCH CARTRIDGES WITH "RUSTLESS" PRIMING" and displays the guarantee sentence. Both end flaps display the product code "No. 2226". There is a half diamond thumb cut on the right end of the box. This box uses the tall cardboard ammo tray. The brass casings display the "U-6" headstamp and one cannelure. They have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced circa 1956 and was produced until 1962.
