This Peters Cartridge Co. manufactured silver and black cardboard box contains 41 of the original 50 rounds of High Velocity Filmkote 22 Long ammunition with nickel cases and is in fair condition with heavy wear. One end flap is detached, but present and the other end flap is missing completely. The bottom of the box displays the company information "THE PETERS CARTRIDGE CO. / KINGS MILLS, OHIO, U.S.A." and does NOT have any stampings present. The end flap displays the product code "NO. 2269" and the end flap warning reads "DANGEROUS / WITHIN 1 MILE". There is a semicircular thumb cut present on each end of the box. The nickel casings display the "PE-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1934 and was produced until circa 1939.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-13 L-1(a) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays a semi-circular thumb cut on each end of the box. This box displays the "A" style bottom and nickel casings.
