This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured silver and black cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of High Velocity Rustless 22 Long ammunition with brass cases and is in very good condition with light wear, dirt smudges, and some wrinkles in the top and front panels. The bottom of the box displays the white rectangle with rounded corners and two sets of factory rubber stamped numbers/letters. Both end flaps display the product code "No. 2269" and the end flap warning reads "RANGE-ONE MILE / BE CAREFUL". There is a semicircular thumb cut present on the right end of the box. The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp and have a couple spots of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced circa 1941 and was produced until circa 1946.

Note: This box is the Huegel # PCC-14 L-1(aa) variation. This box displays the "A" style bottom and the #2 style end flap warning.
