This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Rustless smokeless 22 LR ammunition with copper cases and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The top panel and both end flaps display a period before the caliber designation (.22). The product code No. 2279 is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the company information "PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION / Remington Arms Company, Inc. • Kings Mills, Ohio". The end flap warning reads "DANGEROUS / WITHIN 1 MILE". The copper casings display the "P-6" or "P-7" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1936 and was produced until 1940.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-8D LR-3(f) variation. The difference observed is that this box displays a period before the caliber markings (.22) on the top panel and both end flaps. This box displays the "F" style bottom, #3 style end flap, and #2 style end flap warning.
