This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Rustless smokeless 22 LR ammunition with brass cases and is in very good to near excellent condition with light shelf wear, two wrinkled corners, and light dirt smudging. The white portions of the box have turned a light tan with age. The cardboard ammo tray is split down one corner and the end has become unsealed. The bottom of the box displays the company information "PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. / BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT". Both end flaps display the product code No. 2279 and the end flap warning reads "RANGE-ONE MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "P-6" or "P-7" headstamp and have a light tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1936 and was produced until 1940.
