This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Rustless smokeless 22 Remington Auto Loading ammunition with copper cases and is in very good condition with edge wear and dirt smudges. A 1/8" split is present on the top, back edge of the box. The product code NO. 2239 is printed on both end flaps. The bottom of the box displays the company information "PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. / KINGS MILLS, OHIO.". The end flap warning reads "DANGEROUS / WITHIN 1 MILE". The copper casings display the "P-6" or "P-7" headstamp and have a coating of tarnish present. The bullets display a light oxidation.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1932 and was produced until 1935.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # PCC-8C RA-3 variation. The difference observed is that this box displays copper casings with "P-6" or "P-7" headstamps. This box displays the "E-1" style bottom, #7 style end flap, and #1 style end flap warning.
