This Peters Cartridge Division manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains 33 of the original 50 rounds of High Velocity Long Range rustless smokeless 22 WRF ammunition with brass cases and lubricated bullets and is in good to about very good condition with moderate wear and dirt smudging. The cardboard ammo tray is split down one corner and a second corner has come unsealed. This box displays a thumb cut on the left end of the box. The product code NO. 2291 is printed on both end flaps. The bottom panel displays a red DuPont logo and the company information "PETERS CARTRIDGE DIVISION / REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. / KINGS MILLS, OHIO.". The end flap warning reads "RANGE-ONE MILE / BE CAREFUL". The brass casings display the "PE-1" headstamp and have a couple specks of tarnish present.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1931 and was produced until circa 1934.

Note: This box is the Huegel # PCC-11B WRF-4 variation. This box displays a thumb cut on the left end, the "D" style bottom, and brass casings.
