This Japanese manufactured barreled receiver is for the type 44 Arisaka bolt action carbine in 6.5 Jap caliber and features an 18 1/2" barrel with both the front sight and rear sight assembly. This barreled receiver is in very good condition retaining a decent amount of its original blue finish with the balance exhibiting a brownish gray patina and having some spots of pin prick pitting and rust staining. The receiver is the only part on the Type 44 Arisaka carbine that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Barreled receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines.
