This Stevens manufactured tenth variation receiver is for the Favorite single shot falling block rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light surface rust specks and possibly a few faint specks of pitting. This is the only part on the Favorite rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. Note: Tenth variation receivers will have (1) the round cut frame, (2) the longer 3 3/16" long lower tang with the threaded hole for the 2nd variation mainspring screw, (3) the longer 5/8" long rectangular opening for the trigger, (4) have the notch designed for the 4th variation (aka 6 o' clock) extractor with a plunger system, (5) is lacking the threaded hole on the forward belly of the receiver for supporting the lever spring screw. The only difference between a 9th variation receiver and a 10th variation receiver is that the later is roll stamped "Trade Mark / FAVORITE / Reg. U.S. Pat. Off & Fgn" on the top bridge of the receiver and lacking any printing on the left side flat.

Related Parts: the following list of parts will normally be found on a Favorite single shot rifle having a tenth variation receiver when it originally left the factory new: 3rd variation mainspring, 2nd variation mainspring screw, 3rd variation hammer, 4th variation (aka 6 o' clock) extractor with a plunger system, 4th variation link, 5th variation breech block, 4th variation lever featuring the bushing but no plunger system and a 3rd variation butt stock with a hard rubber butt plate.

Proof: Stevens Favorite rifles with 10th variation receivers have been diss-assembled and thoroughly observed by CFN Parts to make the above conclusions with the following serial numbers on their lower tang: B955, C200 and F847.
