Here is a U.S. M1 30 caliber carbine manufactured by Standard Products. This carbine has serial #2050707 on the receiver, an "Underwood / 9-43 / (flaming bomb)" marked barrel with a bright bore, a two rivet handguard stamped "S-HB" on the underside and a high wood pistol grip stock with "S-HB" stamped on the left side within the sling cut and the crossed cannons acceptance mark on the right side. This carbine has the type B safety, type C operating slide, type B magazine release marked "SW", type A front band, type B recoil plate, type A trigger housing stamped "1 3-A" on the right side, a "SW" stamped type C hammer, a type A non adjustable rear sight stamped "S" on the left side. The metal surfaces exhibit a mixture of thinning original military dull gray finish with a gun metal gray color due to an honest somewhat even wear overall. The stock and handguard rate very good with scratches, light dings and handling marks. This carbine includes a fifteen round magazine which retains a regular blue finish.
