This Scovill manufactured magazine assembly is for the WW II model 1911 A1 semi-auto pistol in 45 ACP caliber and features the "S" stamping on the top lip of the floorplate and is void of any subcontract mark on the bottom of the floorplate which denotes that it was for the Ithaca, Remington-Rand and Union Switch & Signal pistols. This magazine is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear.  (file photos)
