This Thompson Center manufactured early variation walnut stock sub-assembly with recoil pad and rear sling swivel stud is for the percussion White Mountain muzzle loading carbine in 45 or 50 caliber only and is in very good condition with some light dings, handling marks and possible flaking of the finish. The early variation stock is designed for the early variation tang and early variation trigger guard which does not have the inner threads for the longer machine threaded upper tang screw. This stock is void of any cracks or chips. (file photos)
