This Remington manufactured early variation barreled reciver with A grade barrel in 22 Short, Long, & Long Rifle caliber is for the model 511 Scoremaster bolt action rimfire rifle designed for open sights on the barrel only (sold seperately) and is in very good condition exhibiting a brown patina with some original blue finish in protected areas and a few scattered specks of light surface rust. The bore is bright and rates excellent.  The early variation barrel printing has the bow tie shaped printing where it states " The Scoremaster".  This is the only part on the model 511 Scoremaster rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
