Here is a fine Ruger Old Army percussion revolver in 44/45 caliber  with a 7 1/2" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This stainless steel revolver has serial #145-16398 and was manufactured in 1979. Ruger introduced the stainless steel Old Army in 1975 and this specific revolver appears in every respect to be unfired. The wood grips with factory medallions rate excellent. This revolver features the adjustable rear sight and includes the factory hinge top cardboard box with matching serial number. Please note that the end label on the box is for a Blackhawk revolver in 357 Magnum caliber. I have been told that Ruger when short of having the original boxes on hand will sometimes grab a different box that matches in size and the serial number on the side of the box helps confirm this is the case with this specimen. A previous owner has written his name and additional purchasing information on the box and instruction manual including a 1981 purchase date. A fine specimen for the collector and investor.  {Antique}
