Here is a Ruger 3 screw old model Blackhawk single action revolver in 30 Carbine caliber with a 7 1/2" barrel having a bright, excellent bore. The serial number is 50-01796 and was manufactured circa 1969. This collectible revolver was introduced in 1968 and produced for only six years. The revolver has NOT had the safety update conversion installed and it is highly recommended if you plan on shooting this revolver. The metal surfaces retain 98-99% original blue finish. The side whites of the hammer do have some minor freckling or rust staining present. The walnut grips with factory black Phoenix medallions rate near excellent with a few light handling marks. Mechanically, this revolver functions perfectly. The top strap unfortunately has a single filler screw added by a previous owner which was likely done for scope mounting options. The original two piece factory cardboard box with matching end label and matching serial number in white crayon is included but all internal papers are long gone. The box is in near excellent condition with light wear. A quality manufactured revolver that would be great for the shooter and collector. {C&R}
