Here is a very nice Smith & Wesson third model of 1891 top break double action pistol in 22 LR caliber with an 8" raised rib round barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This pistol has serial number 8075 located on the frame, barrel and T shaped latch. The metal surfaces on this circa 1915 manufactured pistol retain 93% original blue finish with the balance as honest wear exhibiting a dark grayish color. There is a short rub on the right side of the barrel at the rear (see photo). The hammer and trigger retain good but mellowed original case colors. The checkered target style walnut grips with diamond around the grip screw escutcheons rate excellent. Mechanically, this pistol functions perfectly.  {C&R}
