Here is a nice Remington model 660 bolt action carbine in 222 Rem. caliber with a 20" long barrel having a bright, near excellent bore. This carbine has serial number 117363 and is date coded "PR" which is June of 1968. The metal surfaces retain 98% original blue finish with the majority of the loss located at the muzzle. The capped and checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock with black synthetic forearm tip rates very good to near excellent with just a few light dings and handling marks. The original factory varnish finish is 97-98% intact. The rear sight has been removed and a Redfield one piece scope mounting base has been added. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A fine little rifle in an uncommon caliber.  {C&R}
