Here is a very nice Remington model 700 BDL grade bolt action rifle in 222 Rem caliber with a 24" long standard weight barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This rifle has serial #A6233593 and has a date code of XZ indicating a manufacture in December of 1975. The metal surfaces retain 99% original blue finish. The capped and checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo style walnut stock with cheek rest rates excellent with a few light handling marks. The factory sights have been removed and the rifle currently supports a pair of Weaver two piece scope mounting bases. Mechanically, this rifle functions properly. A great rifle in a popular varmint caliber.
