Here is a very hard to find Smith & Wesson model 45-2 double action revolver in 22 LR caliber with a 4" long barrel having a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial number C622589 and was very likely part of the 500 gun run manufactured in 1962. The metal surfaces retain 99% plus original blue finish. The hammer and trigger retain all of their original dull case colors. The checkered walnut grips with diamond around the escutcheon are numbered to the revolver and rate excellent. Mechanically, this revolver functions perfectly. Included with the revolver is the two piece blue cardboard box with matching end label, treated paper and test target. A fabulous example of an uncatalogued collectible.  {C&R}
