Here is a very nice Smith & Wesson model 617 double action revolver in 22 LR caliber with an 8 3/8" long barrel having a full underlug and a bright, excellent bore. This revolver has serial number BFS9677 and was manufactured some time between 1990 and 1993. This stainless steel revolver is in very good to near excellent condition with light wear, burnt powder residue and handling marks. The finger grooved style Goncalo Avles grips with factory medallions rate very good to near excellent being void of any cracks or chips. Features include a target hammer, target trigger, pinned Patridge style front sight and a black adjustable rear sight. Mechanically, this revolver functions perfectly. Included with the revolver is the factory cardboard box with matching end label and papers. A fine example of an early stainless K frame target revolver.
