Here is a very nice Savage model 99F Featherweight lever action rifle in 300 Savage caliber with a 22" long barrel having a bright, near excellent bore. This rifle has serial #1028160 and was manufactured between 1960 and 1965. The barrel and receiver retain about 97% original blue finish with light wear at the muzzle and thinning on the belly of the receiver. The lever exhibits an even mixture of bright gray gun metal and case colors. The trigger retains nearly all of its original gold colored finish. The cut checkered pistol grip walnut butt stock and forearm rate excellent with light handling marks. The barrel is equipped with the original ramp front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Weaver two piece scope mounting bases are present along with sling swivel studs. Mechanically, this rifle functions perfectly. A fine looking rifle in a popular caliber.  {C&R}  (see photos)
